Erik W. Bostrom

Erik Bostrom has been in law enforcement for 29 years.  He was with Lexington-Fayette County Police Department as a Safety Officer, Bureau of Patrol and Bureau of Training Range Officer for 26 years.  He is with AKAL Security as a Court Security Officer with the US District Court Eastern District.  He was a Firearm Instructor for the Lexington-Fayette County Police Department. 

His certifications include:

  • Expert witness in evidentiary tests on weapons

  • Glock Advanced Armorer

  • Remington Armorer.  

  • He was also a NRA Law Enforcement Rifle Instructor.
