Michael L. Disbrow
Michael Disbrow has been in
law enforcement for almost 28 years. He started as a jail officer
working court detail, he was promoted in 1980 to Patrolman, and in 1998
he was promoted to Sergeant.
He has been to the ILEA
Firearms Instructors Course, NRA Rifle Instructors Course, FBI SWAT
Course, FBI Sniper Course, and the Gunny Hathcock Sniper Course (one of
only two people to have successfully completed course twice). He was
with Singleton International for 10 years as a Basic and Advanced SWAT,
CQB, MP5/Colt Instructor, Tactical Shotgun Instructor, Live-Fire
Shoot-house Instructor.
He has received the Indiana
Governor’s Top Twenty Award five times. He has been a two time Past
President and a two time Past Vice President of the Indiana Police
Firearms Training Association. He has received letters of appreciation
from numerous citizens, one from the United States Army Special Forces
ODA0171 and one from the United States Navy Special Warfare SEAL Team 8.
