W. Jesse Huggins

Huggins has been actively involved in law enforcement with the
Logansport Police Department for 16 years. Sergeant Huggins has also
been involved with US military services since 1979 (US Army active duty
and US Air Force Reserves), currently with US Air Force Security Forces
(Reserves). Sergeant Huggins has an extensive background in weapons
systems from handguns, shotguns and rifles to machine guns. As the NCOIC
for a Combat Arms Training and Maintenance shop, US Air Force Security
Forces, Sergeant Huggins and his shop are responsible for the
maintenance and weapons training of all small arms for the entire base
of 1100+ personnel, to include M4/M16 weapons and M249/M240maxchinegun
systems. Sergeant Huggins has also been a firearms instructor and
Armorer for his police department since 1993. In addition, Sergeant
Huggins has also been involved as part of the cadre for the Indiana Law
Enforcement Academy Police Carbine Instructor's Course since 2002.
